Listen to Winter here: https://fanlink.to/brontefall_winter

Winter is Brontë Fall’s third studio release and includes six-songs, all written or co-written by lead songwriter and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken. Unveiling a deep and vulnerable perspective, Bracken's experiences surviving a deadly tornado, a messy breakup and her father’s ongoing battle with cancer are felt in songs like “Beyond The Rain,” about waking up in a world so changed that it might never be reversed. In “Burning Out,” she compares a fading relationship to the fall of a shooting star and “To Be The One,” recalls real-life moments in her relationship when she knew the end was inevitable. She captures an empowering sense of self-redemption in “Every (Damn) Time,” and “Indiana” is a nostalgic retreat to the innocence of childhood.

In an effort to leave a dreary Winter behind, Bracken’s observations on this dark chapter in life ultimately opened the door for a personal reboot. The optimism is well played out across the EP with impressive musicality and vulnerable self-expression manifested through a wealth of musical atmosphere with bright pop electronica sounds, punchy percussion, synth soundscapes, and intelligent and shortened pop vocal phrasing.

Bracken will celebrate her newly released EP Winter with an album release show at The Basement (1604 8th Ave S Ste 330) on March 17th at 9 p.m. For more tour dates and information, visit https://www.brontefall.com/

BRONTË FALL SHARES “BEYOND THE RAIN” MUSIC VIDEO

BRONTË FALL SHARES “BEYOND THE RAIN” MUSIC VIDEO

“Beyond The Rain” Is From The Multi-instrumentalist/Songwriter’s
Third Studio Release Winter, Due Out March 4th

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2022) - Indie-pop artist Brontë Fall is sharing the new music video for recently released song “Beyond The Rain” today. Co-directed by Kelsey Kopecky and Oceanna, the music video was inspired by Brontë Fall’s personal experience surviving the East Nashville tornadoes of March 2020, days before the pandemic hit. Staying the course with literary influences, Brontë Fall echoes a similar sentiment to Dorothy in the Wizard Of Oz. In the video, Brontë Fall is swept up in a twister. Instead of waking up in Oz, she wakes up to an unfamiliar place, somewhere ‘beyond the rain’ with no yellow brick road to show her the way back. “Beyond The Rain” is from Brontë Fall’s forthcoming, third studio project Winter, due out on March 4th.

Winter Explores a Deeply Vulnerable and Dark Season for the Artist, Making Way for A Brighter Season Ahead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 11th, 2022) - Nashville-based indie pop artist Brontë Fall, announces new EP Winter, due out on March 4th. Led by singer/songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken, Winter presents Brontë Fall’s most personal six-song collection to date and was inspired by “Fall, Leaves, Fall” a literary poem by Emily Brontë, from which the artist takes her name. The reflective EP is about finding beauty in life’s cold spells, and explores a deeply vulnerable, dark season for Bracken, making way for a brighter season ahead.

WMOT Roots Radio and DittyTV’s ‘The Curve’ recently revealed the music video for Brontë Fall’s song “Outsmart Love,” here: https://youtu.be/tmuC8ooa12Y. “Outsmart Love” is the follow up to previously released song “Indiana.” Both songs will be included on the forthcoming, independently-released EP Winter, view the full track listing below.*

Winter is about finding the beauty in the wreckage and surviving some very difficult times. Writing this music allowed me to heal from everything that I was going through - a messy breakup, the tornado that ripped through my East Nashville neighborhood, the rollercoaster that is still this pandemic and the ups and downs of my father’s ongoing battle with cancer. I reached for any signs of silver linings and never stopped creating,” said Bracken.

Winter is Brontë Fall’s third studio release and includes six-songs, all written or co-written by Bracken. Unveiling a deep and vulnerable perspective, Bracken's experiences are felt in “Beyond The Rain,” a song about waking up in a world so changed that it might never be reversed.

In an effort to leave a dreary Winter behind, Bracken’s observations on this dark chapter in life ultimately opened the door for a personal reboot, and the optimism is well played out in the EP’s impressive musicality. As a multi-instrumentalist shaped by years of experience studying orchestral music, playing stringed instruments and countless classical sonatas and concertos on the violin, Bracken co-arranged the six tracks on the EP. As a result, Winter offers a wealth of musical atmosphere with bright pop electronica sounds, punchy percussion, synth soundscapes, and intelligent and shortened pop vocal phrasing. It’s a familiar sound - Brontë Fall’s sonic hybrid of pop roots and folk-music influences known from previous works, but with a heightened sense of awareness. Winter was recorded in Nashville and was produced by Jake Finch and includes instrumentalists; Lars Thorson (Electric Guitar), Dylan Jones (Keyboard), Hadley Kennary (Harmony Vocalist).

Brontë Fall Highlights The Paradox Of Love In “Outsmart Love” Music Video

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 6, 2021) - Nashville-based indie-pop band Brontë Fall, led by singer/songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken revealed the new music video for song “Outsmart Love,” today. Directed by Kelsey Kopecky, the video is a nod to the famous English sisters of literature - the  Brontë sisters of the 19th century - and highlights the paradox of love. The video shows Bracken in a cabin surrounded by books, feeling the pain of heartbreak. She quickly realizes that there are no amount of books that can be read to outsmart love. “Outsmart Love” was featured across multiple playlists including; Sounds Like Nashville’s New Nashville playlist, Americana Highways Back Roads Playlist, and DittyTV’s New Music Friday playlist. Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/tmuC8ooa12Y.

Named as an artist that is “free enough to speak her mind” (PopMatters) and one that “has found a way to express feelings that suggest we don’t need to be tied to outside expectations” (Folk Radio), Bracken teamed up with collaborator Isaac Slutsky to co-write the moody and ethereal new track “Outsmart Love,” exploring the vulnerable nature of falling in love and its uncertainty. Delivered just in time for those winter vibes, the single was produced by Jake Finch and follows previously released song “Indiana” and acclaimed EP Finishing School. “Outsmart Love” and “Indiana” will be included on a forthcoming EP due out in 2022.

Bracken’s love for English literature led to naming the band Brontë Fall after the Brontë sisters who fought the ever-evolving societal restraints on women in the 19th century and published works under male pseudonyms. Capturing their spirit of a centuries-old push by the Brontë sisters to have their-and all women's-voices heard, Brontë Fall’s most recent release and second studio album Finishing School was lauded as a collection of bold songs and topics that addressed societal norms and expectations on women. American Songwriter praised Bracken’s “non-traditional approach” and Pop Matters highlighted the catalogue of songs that “refer to the ‘good life’ of the American housewife.”

The rising multi-instrumentalist and songwriter made the move to Nashville four years ago after being drawn to the city's diverse and evolving music scene, and one that has grown past its’ country music roots to include a fusion of genres including rock and pop. She quickly found like-minded collaborators and began introducing her own blend of indie-pop and rootsy Americana - a sound shaped by years of experience as a Berklee College of Music graduate, studying orchestral music, playing stringed instruments and countless classical sonatas and concertos on the violin. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 19, 2021) - Nashville-based indie-pop band Brontë Fall, led by singer/songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken, announces new single “Outsmart Love,” out today. Named as an artist that is “free enough to speak her mind” (PopMatters) and one that “has found a way to express feelings that suggest we don’t need to be tied to outside expectations” (Folk Radio), Bracken teamed up with collaborator Isaac Slutsky to co-write the moody and ethereal new track, exploring the vulnerable nature of falling in love and its uncertainty. “Outsmart Love” was produced by Jake Finch and is the follow up to previously released song “Indiana” and acclaimed EP Finishing School. “Outsmart Love” and “Indiana” will be included on a forthcoming EP due out in 2022. Listen to “Outsmart Love” here: https://hypeddit.com/zf3fz1.

“When I wrote this song with Isaac, we were in the middle of the pandemic and both going through a lot, and at the same time I was dealing with heartbreak. I was reminded of Emily Brontë’s poem ‘Fall Leaves Fall,’ of which my band name is based after. It involves embracing the darker seasons of our lives and finding the beauty in them. I was inspired by that poem and eager to find the silver linings in everything that I was experiencing. During the process, I wrote about the dark season in my own life, and found both the beauty and irony in all of it,” said Bracken.

Bracken’s love for English literature led to naming the band Brontë Fall as a nod to the legacy of the English sisters of literature - the Brontë sisters who fought the ever-evolving societal restraints on women in the 19th century and published works under male pseudonyms. Capturing their spirit of a centuries-old push by the Brontë sisters to have their-and all women's-voices heard, Brontë Fall’s most recent release and second studio album Finishing School was lauded as a collection of bold songs and topics that addressed societal norms and expectations on women. American Songwriter praised Bracken’s “non-traditional approach” and Pop Matters highlighted the catalogue of songs that “refer to the ‘good life’ of the American housewife,” in addition to highlighting Bracken’s musicality and instrumentation as a classically-trained Berklee College of Music graduate that often “utilizes pop and alternative rock tropes with different atmospherics.” Additionally, Finishing School was featured by Ditty TV, Guitar Girl Magazine, and Stitched Sound.

The rising multi-instrumentalist and songwriter made the move to Nashville four years ago after spending time in Boston, New York and her hometown of Chicago. Drawn to Nashville’s diverse and evolving music scene, and one that has grown past its’ country music roots to include a fusion of genres including rock and pop, she quickly found like-minded collaborators and began introducing her own blend of indie-pop and rootsy Americana - a sound shaped by years of experience studying orchestral music, playing string instruments and countless classical sonatas and concertos on the violin.
