Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks the Official Opening
of the Company’s Sixth Location Across the Country

Nashville, TN (April 7, 2025) - Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar celebrated the grand opening of their new location in downtown Nashville, just steps away from Broadway (152 2nd Ave N.) on Friday night (4/4). Bringing an unforgettable blend of live music, and high-energy performances, dueling pianists took the stage to perform crowd favorite songs from every music era and genre. The wall-to-wall audience was encouraged to request songs, join in on the fun, and be a part of the show in an atmosphere that combined live music, humor, and non-stop excitement.

Kicking off the evening’s festivities, the community gathered together for a special ribbon cutting ceremony, marking the official opening of the company’s sixth location across the country. The evening was filled with excitement as the local community gathered to experience the new space, live music, and signature cocktails. 

Amplified Hospitality Group’s Austin Walter, Partner in Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, addressed the crowd, expressing gratitude for the local community and sharing the rich history behind the iconic dueling piano tradition.

“We have received so much support from the Nashville community and are really excited to be part of the nightlife in downtown and the revitalization of Second Ave. Thank you so much to the partners and community that has come together to celebrate Pete's Dueling Piano Bar," said Walter.

Guests were treated to a stunning 10,000-square-foot venue featuring state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and video systems, with three bars, a VIP section, and an exhilarating party atmosphere. Catering was provided by local favorite Martin’s BBQ, and guests experienced some of Pete’s signature cocktails—including the crowd-pleasing “Lucky Duck” and the playful “Tasty Tub Drinks,” each topped with a rubber duck wearing a cowboy hat.

New single “All Good In The Neighborhood” tells the story of a man who finds himself in trouble after leaving his hometown in Etowah County. With regret after not heeding his father's advice, and while sitting in a Tallahassee jail he fantasizes about returning to a simpler life in Alabama. The song follows the band’s previously released “A Bad Hand,” “Candle In The Dark” and “Birmingham Steel,” a tribute to the Alabama steel industry and workers. This is a video that I feel not only compliments, but amplifies my song’s message. Gone For Days is DeWyze’s most personal and introspective album to date and offers an honest reflection of self-exploration with heartfelt lyricism and a stunning sonic portrayal of life’s outcomes expressed with expansive strings, gorgeous melodies and syncopated rhythms. DeWyze surrendered to the creative process, leaving his home in Los Angeles to write and record this album in Bristol, VA. While spending time alone writing the album, the songwriter confronted some of the deepest, darkest places in his own personal life, leading him to explore some of life’s toughest questions.

“I had so many different ideas floating around,” he said. “I spent that first month working out the songs and experimenting with different ideas and approaches.’ I wanted to write a record that I love, a record that I’d want to listen to.’ Looking back at it now, I find myself saying, ‘Wow, that was a surreal two and a half months of my life,’ but so many incredible things came from it on a musical and personal level.” 

While in Bristol, DeWyze found comfort by surrounding himself with new and familiar friends in and out of the studio. The collection of new music includes contributions from Grammy-nominated instrumentalists including cellist Dave Eggar, who composed the string arrangements, while guest musicians Barry Bales and Tim Stafford contributed on songs including “Devil In The Details” and “Dandelion”.  Phil Faconti, a Brooklyn native currently living in Bristol, played additional guitar throughout the record, and Blake Collins, a Bristol native played mandolin. DeWyze wrote the songs, played the main acoustic guitars throughout the album, and provided vocals.
