Named In Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need To Know,
“Devil In The Details” Is From DeWyze’s Forthcoming Album
Gone For Days, Due Out On Sept.13th

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 9, 2024) - Songwriter Lee DeWyze is releasing the music video for his single “Devil In The Details” today. Named in Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need To Know, “Devil In The Details” is the first single from DeWyze’s forthcoming album Gone For Days, due out on Sept. 13th. People.com exclusively premiered the music video directed by Sarah Wilson Thacker, view it here: https://people.com/lee-dewyze-devil-in-the-details-music-video-exclusive-8692807.

“For me, the ‘Devil In The Details’ music video really translates the song’s emotion and story into an equally emotional visual experience. With Director Sarah Wilson Thacker’s vision, and Irvin Liu’s cinematography, our collaborative effort brought the piece to life in a way that is both beautiful and somber. This is a video that I feel not only compliments, but amplifies my song’s message. I can’t help but believe that this video will leave the viewer asking some of the very same questions I pose in the song itself,” said DeWyze.

“The song has such a delicate introspection, and I really wanted to craft a visual that spoke to that looking upwards and inwards we all experience this in life. I think that searching for direction in the face of hardship and loss is so universal and it was such a thrill to help realize Lee’s vision for this epic song,” said Director Sarah Wilson Thacker.

Gone For Days is DeWyze’s most personal and introspective album to date and offers an honest reflection of self-exploration with heartfelt lyricism and a stunning sonic portrayal of life’s outcomes expressed with expansive strings, gorgeous melodies and syncopated rhythms. DeWyze surrendered to the creative process, leaving his home in Los Angeles to write and record this album in Bristol, VA. While spending time alone writing the album, the songwriter confronted some of the deepest, darkest places in his own personal life, leading him to explore some of life’s toughest questions.

“I had so many different ideas floating around,” he said. “I spent that first month working out the songs and experimenting with different ideas and approaches.’ I wanted to write a record that I love, a record that I’d want to listen to.’ Looking back at it now, I find myself saying, ‘Wow, that was a surreal two and a half months of my life,’ but so many incredible things came from it on a musical and personal level.”

While in Bristol, DeWyze found comfort by surrounding himself with new and familiar friends in and out of the studio. The collection of new music includes contributions from Grammy-nominated instrumentalists including cellist Dave Eggar, who composed the string arrangements, while guest musicians Barry Bales and Tim Stafford contributed on songs including “Devil In The Details” and “Dandelion”.  Phil Faconti, a Brooklyn native currently living in Bristol, played additional guitar throughout the record, and Blake Collins, a Bristol native played mandolin. DeWyze wrote the songs, played the main acoustic guitars throughout the album, and provided vocals.

Gone For Days is DeWyze’s sixth major studio record and follows critically-acclaimed album releases Frames and Oil and Water, both of which topped the iTunes Folk and Singer/Songwriter Chart in addition to Paranoia and Ghost Stories, both of which reached No.1 on the iTunes Alternative and Singer/Songwriter Chart. HERE)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 2nd, 2024) - Singer-songwriter Lee DeWyze announces his cinematic folk album Gone For Days (Mavelle Records), due out on Sept. 13th. Embracing the storytelling aspect of the folk albums that shaped him, and drawing from his Americana influences, DeWyze is letting his voice be heard on this new collection of songs recorded in Bristol, VA. As he delivers his most personal and introspective record to date, he offers an honest reflection of self-exploration with heartfelt lyricism and a stunning sonic portrayal of life’s outcomes expressed with expansive strings, gorgeous melodies, and syncopated rhythms.

DeWyze is sharing the album’s first single "Devil In The Details” today. “Devil In The Details” explores themes of battling inner demons, grief, and wrestling with life's toughest questions, and confidently showcases his craftsmanship as a master storyteller. Listen, here: https://lnk.to/DevilInTheDetails

“Recording this album was a special experience for me. On a personal level, it feels like this is the album I’ve always wanted to make. Even in the studio, everything was very organic and real. It was almost as if the record was alive, and all the pieces were flying in and out, finding their proper places. It was all centered around the songs and what’s best for each one of them, all while telling each song's individual story. It was important to me that you could feel the emotion on this album, and that it sounded that way as well,” said DeWyze.

The LA resident knew he was going to be in Bristol, VA for some time before he started recording, and he was eager to find inspiration in a new setting. “I had so many different ideas floating around. I spent that first month working out the songs and experimenting with different ideas and approaches. I wanted to write a record that I love, a record that I’d want to listen to,” said DeWyze.

Tapping into local talent in the area, the collection of new music includes contributions from Grammy-nominated instrumentalists including cellist Dave Eggar, who composed the string arrangements, while guest musicians Barry Bales and Tim Stafford contributed on songs including “Devil In The Details” and “Dandelion”.  Phil Faconti, a Brooklyn native currently living in Bristol, played additional guitar throughout the record, and Blake Collins, a Bristol native played mandolin. DeWyze wrote all of the songs, played all of the main acoustic guitars throughout the album, and provided vocals.

DeWyze is currently planning his fall tour, and will take the stage for a special performance during TEDxKC at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO today. For more information, visit https://leedewyzeofficial.com/.

SINGER-SONGWRITER/GUITARIST JOHN SMITH SHARES NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “THE LIVING KIND” TODAY (VIEW HERE)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SINGER-SONGWRITER/GUITARIST JOHN SMITH SHARES NEW MUSIC VIDEO  FOR “THE LIVING KIND” TODAY (VIEW HERE)

TITLE TRACK IS FROM JOHN’S FORTHCOMING ALBUM
THE LIVING KIND DUE OUT ON MARCH 15TH

Pre-Order The Album (HERE)

Nashville, TN (Feb. 7th, 2024) - Critically-acclaimed Singer-songwriter/Guitarist John Smith is sharing the music video for title track “The Living Kind” today. “The Living Kind” is from John’s forthcoming album The Living Kind (Thirty Tigers/Commoner Records) set for release on March 15th. The Living Kind is the first body of new music since his sixth studio album The Fray, which helped him amass over 100 million streams on Spotify. “The Living Kind” music video was filmed in the woods near his home in Somerset and is a lighthearted, surreal take on living life to the fullest. Watch the official music video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoKz1CIHTLA&feature=youtu.be

“It’s hard to get out of bed sometimes, and most days it’s almost impossible to see things clearly. Since I turned 40, I’ve felt that I’m starting to run out of time… but I’ve still got a lot of work to do. I wrote this song as a marker on the map. It’s good to want to be The Living Kind,” said John.

Of his picking style, he added “I listen to a lot of Metallica. James Hetfield is one of my favorite guitarists. I took his ‘down down up’ picking style and put it to a three-time jig feel.”

“The Living Kind” follows his previously-released song “The World Turns.” Both tracks are included on his forthcoming album The Living Kind, available for pre-order here: https://orcd.co/thelivingkind

The Living Kind follows John’s previously released, critically-acclaimed album The Fray which was featured by Associated Press, American Songwriter, No Depression, Under The Radar, and led him to a UK Americana Award nomination for Artist of The Year (2022) and UK Song of the Year (2022) for his single “Eye to Eye” (John Smith ft. Sarah Jarosz).

The Living Kind highlights his generational guitar talent and unique synthesis of styles. Produced by Joe Henry (Lisa Hannigan, Rhiannon Giddens, Guy Pearce, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez), it is a gloriously subtle and moving 10 track collection that is a truly contemporary body of work.

Recorded entirely live at Joe Henry’s home in Maine, the idea for the album was first cooked up at the start of 2022, when Joe and John decided to make an intimate record together – “an acoustic album that sounded like Spirit of Eden”, Smith explains, referencing Talk Talk’s 1988 classic. Along with John Martyn’s Solid Air and Joni Mitchell’s electro-acoustic odyssey Hejira, it was one of the three creative inspirations for The Living Kind.

Currently on tour in support of his upcoming album, John is set to perform at The Basement (1604 8th Ave S Ste 330) in Nashville, TN on Tuesday, Feb. 20th. The show starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information visit https://www.thebasementnashville.com/event/13442693/john-smith/

The Other Side Too is the follow up to their previously-released spoken word album The Other Side, which addressed the hero’s journey to success and thriving in passion, purpose and art. The Other Side Too is available at digital retailers everywhere today, here: https://swrap.lnk.to/theothersidetoo

“I’m so grateful to be a part of this project with so many other creators in Nashville. We received incredible support with our previous release The Other Side. Spoken word is a beautiful and unique art form. With this second edition, we want to continue to create awareness of spoken word and inspire others to knock down feelings of self-doubt, fear, and the trials that come with pursuing a creative career, especially as people experience all of the ebbs and flows along the road to success. The Other Side Too is about pushing through, re-igniting your purpose and continuing that climb,” said Rayford.

The Other Side Too comes on the heels of the GRAMMYs® newly added category and first-ever Award for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album this year, which honors excellence and spoken word albums, specific to the performance of poetry with or without music, a category formerly dominated by audio books. “Poetry has always been important to culture and society, and has always been a source of inspiration for people. Just like music, it encourages us to shift our perspectives in order to better understand each other. We are grateful to The Recording Academy leaders and the spoken word poetry community for leading the charge and recognizing the importance of spoken word as an artform. Designating a stand-alone category for it, paves the way for so many more spoken word artists to come,” said Saran ‘S-Wrap’ Thompson.

The Other Side Too includes six tracks with lyric poetry and music, and six stand-alone instrumental tracks. It’s an authentic collection that leads the listener to reflect on how far they’ve come and offers up inspiration for those experiencing success. “Find Your Reason” is a message of hope to inspire others to stay the course when times get tough. “Fools Gold” (feat. the Official Release On Sept. 16th (

"‘Die Runnin’ bursts into life like a wheelspin on a gravel road before grinding down into gear and settling into a pulsing country groove. Like all the best road trips, it’s the kind of song you wish could go on forever." - Holler

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 6, 2022) - Singer-songwriter Mike Ryan announces new album Longcut, his first new album in five years, set for release on Oct. 28th. Longcut ushers in an elevated sonic edge that signals  growth for the artist and songwriter, confidently embracing his musical sensibilities and expanding his depth and craft as a songwriter. The 13-song collection is a masterful combination of up-tempo tracks that kick harder and ballads that pack even more emotional punch than ever before.

Driving new single “Die Runnin'" kicks off the first taste of new energy from the album, and is streaming exclusively via Holler, ahead of its official release on Sept. 16th, listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd2I7fB_GwQ.

“I’m really proud of this record. I always felt that every project that I put out has been better than the last one. We have been working for years on some of these songs and have lived with them for a while, and that’s one thing that is unique to this record. There’s also definitely been some sonic growth with this album. We brought in a few new players and different elements that I thought were really crucial in making this album sound as good as it does,” said Mike.

Announcing his album to fans via Instagram, Mike revealed the cover artwork and release date for his first-time collaboration with Producers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, view the post (HERE).

Longcut displays a welcomed intensity and maturity that signals an elevated level for the singer-songwriter, one that demands attention. The swaggering, fiddle-and-steel heavy “Jacket On,” was co-written by Mike, songstress Brandy Clark, and Brent Anderson with Jenee Fleenor adding her signature fiddle skills. Mike stretches his vocal abilities from floor to ceiling with his impressive range on “Loser,” a wear your heart on your sleeve spin on losing someone, co-written by Colin Elmore, Hillary Lindsey and Gordie Sampson. A dose of reality sets in with “Way It Goes,” a song about how it is instead of how you think it should be, co-written by songwriter-artist Phil Vassar, Brett Sheroky and Andrew Peebles.

The expansive set also shows Mike leaning into Appalachia influence with “Forgiveness and Rain,” a song about wrestling with the guilt of raising questionable crops, penned by longtime collaborators Brent Anderson and Chris DuBois.

With an incredible lineup of songwriters and noteworthy collaborations, Mike once again proves himself a formidable force in Country music that has not only earned the devotion of fans, but also the respect of peers, songwriters and artists within the genre.

Currently touring in support of his new music, Mike will perform at the legendary Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, TX on Sept. 17th. Most recently, he performed shows with Riley Green and Miranda Lambert. This fall, he will make his debut at Globe Life Field as part of Morgan Wallen’s first-ever stadium show in Arlington, TX on Oct. 8th.

BRONTË FALL ANNOUNCES WINTER EP, DUE OUT ON MARCH 4TH

BRONTË FALL ANNOUNCES WINTER EP, DUE OUT ON MARCH 4TH

WMOT Roots Radio and DittyTV’s “The Curve” Reveal New “Outsmart Love” Music Video Ahead Of EP Announcement, View HERE

Winter Explores a Deeply Vulnerable and Dark Season for the Artist, Making Way for A Brighter Season Ahead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 11th, 2022) - Nashville-based indie pop artist Brontë Fall, announces new EP Winter, due out on March 4th. Led by singer/songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken, Winter presents Brontë Fall’s most personal six-song collection to date and was inspired by “Fall, Leaves, Fall” a literary poem by Emily Brontë, from which the artist takes her name. The reflective EP is about finding beauty in life’s cold spells, and explores a deeply vulnerable, dark season for Bracken, making way for a brighter season ahead.

WMOT Roots Radio and DittyTV’s ‘The Curve’ recently revealed the music video for Brontë Fall’s song “Outsmart Love,” here: https://youtu.be/tmuC8ooa12Y. “Outsmart Love” is the follow up to previously released song “Indiana.” Both songs will be included on the forthcoming, independently-released EP Winter, view the full track listing below.*

Winter is about finding the beauty in the wreckage and surviving some very difficult times. Writing this music allowed me to heal from everything that I was going through - a messy breakup, the tornado that ripped through my East Nashville neighborhood, the rollercoaster that is still this pandemic and the ups and downs of my father’s ongoing battle with cancer. I reached for any signs of silver linings and never stopped creating,” said Bracken.

Winter is Brontë Fall’s third studio release and includes six-songs, all written or co-written by Bracken. Unveiling a deep and vulnerable perspective, Bracken's experiences are felt in “Beyond The Rain,” a song about waking up in a world so changed that it might never be reversed. In “Burning Out,” she compares a fading relationship to the fall of a shooting star and “To Be The One,” recalls real-life moments in her relationship when she knew the end was inevitable. She captures an empowering sense of self-redemption in “Every (Damn) Time,” and “Indiana” is a nostalgic retreat to the innocence of childhood.

In an effort to leave a dreary Winter behind, Bracken’s observations on this dark chapter in life ultimately opened the door for a personal reboot, and the optimism is well played out in the EP’s impressive musicality. As a multi-instrumentalist shaped by years of experience studying orchestral music, playing stringed instruments and countless classical sonatas and concertos on the violin, Bracken co-arranged the six tracks on the EP. As a result, Winter offers a wealth of musical atmosphere with bright pop electronica sounds, punchy percussion, synth soundscapes, and intelligent and shortened pop vocal phrasing. It’s a familiar sound - Brontë Fall’s sonic hybrid of pop roots and folk-music influences known from previous works, but with a heightened sense of awareness. Winter was recorded in Nashville and was produced by Jake Finch and includes instrumentalists; Lars Thorson (Electric Guitar), Dylan Jones (Keyboard), Hadley Kennary (Harmony Vocalist).

Winter Tracklisting*
1. “Every (Damn) Time” (Teri Bracken)
2. “Indiana” (Teri Bracken)
3. “Beyond The Rain” (Teri Bracken)
4. “Burning Out” (Teri Bracken, Stacy Antonel)
5. “Outsmart Love” (Teri Bracken, Isaac Slutsky)
6. “To Be The One” (Teri Bracken)

About Brontë Fall
Named as an artist that is “free enough to speak her mind” (PopMatters), and one that “has found a way to express feelings that suggest we don’t need to be tied to outside expectations'' (Folk Radio), Brontë Fall’s independent spirit and storytelling has continued to captivate audiences with the recent release of the clever “Outsmart Love” and nostalgic “Indiana.” The previously released Finishing School was lauded as a collection of bold songs and topics that addressed societal norms and expectations on women with American Songwriter praising the “non-traditional approach” and Pop Matters highlighting the catalog of songs that “refer to the ‘good life’ of the American housewife.”

Brontë Fall is led by songwriter and classically-trained, multi-instrumentalist Teri Bracken, and was named after Bracken’s love for English literature and the legacy of the English sisters of literature - the Brontë sisters who fought the ever-evolving societal restraints on women in the 19th century and published works under male pseudonyms. Bracken made the move to Nashville four years ago, after spending time in Boston, New York and Chicago. Drawn to Nashville’s diverse and evolving music scene, Bracken quickly found like-minded collaborators and began introducing her own blend of indie-pop and rootsy Americana. “It Starts In The Heart”*

Verse 1

Where are we marching
Do we know where the road’s gonna end
Who are we following
Are we further than where we began
Who are we watching
Are we sure that they’re really a friend
Why are we  hollering
That’s not how we’re gonna win

Chorus

It starts in the heart
That’s where the journey begins
It starts in the heart
That’s where the pain will end
We’ll never make it til we change directions
We’ll only arrive there together
It starts in the heart
It starts In the heart

Verse 2

Do you remember
Their dreams from long ago
They painted a picture
Of a future we’re yet to behold
Our vision is blurry
And we’re blinded all of the noise
We need an awakening
We’ve been sleeping for way too long

Chorus

Bridge

Who is holding your hand?
Who are you lending your ear?
You better be careful that you don’t be led astray
It don’t matter what they say, don’t be confused

Chorus

GRAMMY-NOMINATED SONGWRITER ALVIN GARRETT RELEASES SOUL ALBUM THE LIGHTNESS OF LOVE TODAY (2/5)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 5, 2021) - Grammy®-nominated songwriter Alvin Garrett is releasing his Soul-infused and self-penned album The Lightness Of Love today (2/5). The Lightness Of Love (HILL Entertainment) reaffirms the importance of connection, love and togetherness, and delivers with a passion reminiscent of the romantic, soulful love songs served up by Motown in the 1970s. The Lightness Of Love comes on the heels of Alvin’s recently released album The Awakening, a reflection of the recent social unrest and the release of his swinging, feel-good lead single “My Gift To You.” Listen to The Lightness Of Love here: https://lnk.to/GxfPCLak. *The track listing is included below.

Alvin is celebrating the release of The Lightness Of Love tonight, in a special 45 minute livestream broadcast, where he will talk in-depth about his album and give a special performance of his current single “My Gift To You.” Fans can tune-in tonight via Facebook.com/alvin.j.garrett at 8 p.m. CST.

“Last year, I released The Awakening to inspire listeners to think, feel and become aware of the heaviness of social injustice and systemic oppression. With this album The Lightness Of Love, it’s been important to me to lift others up. I hope that when people listen, in some way, this music helps lighten some of the heaviness that exists. It’s been a positive and inspiring experience for me to create this album, and I’m excited for people to hear it,” shared Garrett.

As a pioneer of inspirational Soul, the Alabama-born-and-raised preacher’s son's first foray into music was through his musical experiences at Church and his love of bass guitar. Traveling a long road throughout his musical career since then, he’s worn multiple hats as a business owner, professional bassist, music and event producer, and an award-winning songwriter and recording/performing artist. Along the way, he’s gone on to build a storied and impressive 20-year career that’s ushered him to the forefront of Soul and R&B as a professional bassist and producer, arranger and songwriter for Joe, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard, Jordan Knight, Deitrick Haddon and more. Adding to that, he’s garnered multiple awards including a Grammy nomination, a Soul Train Award, a Dove Award and a Stellar Award.

With his fourth, full-length studio album The Lightness Of Love, Alvin offers a free and easy infusion of intricate arrangements and melodic vocal lines combined with Smooth Jazz and sultry R&B. With each song, Alvin settles into a pocket so deep you’ll want to get comfortable. His intuitive sense of emotion and musicality are on full display and easily translated in songs like “In It,” revealing a delicate and impressive range of vocal scales, transporting the listener into a feeling of euphoria. Title track “The Lightness of Love” meets his equally-matched and impressive musicianship, featuring Jazz/Classical Flutist and Billboard No.1 charting recording artist Kim Scott, and his lead single “My Gift To You,” is a bold offering of romance and steamy lyrical wordplay with undertones of Gospel, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Altogether, the seven-song collection is compelling, and brings together his sophisticated voice, expressive melodies, masterful songwriting, and a musical energy that is uplifting.

Featured by the Inspired SouthernerBirmingham Times, and Smooth Jazz, Alvin’s recently released album The Awakening garnered critical acclaim with WTUG-FM (Tuscaloosa, AL) lauding the triple threat singer/songwriter and producer as an artist that “...managed to capture the spirit of today’s climate with a few simple words…” Gospel Music Fever recalled his ability to “...harness the cry for change…” Alvin continues to release new music with lyrics to inspire, and recently teamed up with The Dannon Project to develop and empower others with his innovative songwriting program The Write Life. SINGER-SONGWRITER HEATH WEBB RELEASES WAYWARD SOUL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 10, 2019) - Singer-songwriter Heath Webb is announcing the release of Wayward Soul on May 31st. Finding comfort in a variable kind of life following tragic experiences including the loss of several family members, a house fire and the loss of a past love, the album shares the songwriter’s powerful journey and incredible resilience. With an optimistic outlook, Webb opens up about the dynamic shifts in his personal life and the ability to harness life’s lessons and move forward. “My mom wasn’t really around, my father held a prison sentence and I lost everyone that I had known, all at once. In that moment, I felt lost, but I realized that I’m still here,” said Webb of his journey.

Raised  by his grandparents on Lake Tawakoni in Texas, Webb took to music after discovering his grandmother's record collection. He absorbed as much music as he could and by the age of 15, he received his first guitar. Webb went on to study at South Plains College in a program that was co-founded by Grammy-winning Producer Lloyd Maines and attended by notables; Lee Ann Womack, Natalie Maines and Trent Willmon. While there, he honed his craft as both a guitarist and a fiddle player, and quickly decided to hit the road, where he eventually toured with Cody Jinks.

Unexpectedly in his late twenties and all within’ two years, he faced a series of tragic events including a house fire, the death of his father who he had reconnected with after ten years, the loss of his cousin, a girlfriend and his grandparents. After picking up the pieces, and at the urging of his longtime friends and a newfound support system, Webb moved to Music City.

“I had a chance to make a record in Nashville with a tight-knit group of friends, and Nashville is a good place to stretch your legs, creatively without criticism. I had nothin’ else to lose, so I moved, and didn’t look back. There were a lot of challenging days, but I’m grateful for the friends that supported me and I’m proud of the music that we made. I hope that people with similar situations will find comfort in the songs on this record,” said Webb.

Wayward Soul is Webb’s third, studio project and was produced by Scott Harter (formerly of the trio The Harters). The evocative and powerful six-song set is Webb’s most personal, honest and vulnerable songwriting to date. In “Still Rollin,’" Webb deflects life’s pitfalls with a reminder that life is a journey, it’s temporary and unexpected but it still continues to move forward. Poetic ballad “Medicine Man,” is about the search to find answers through a spiritual, cathartic experience, and in a cynical but approachable moment, the title track “Wayward Souls,” has the songwriter observing passerbys in an unlikely place of comfort, a local bar. “Bittersweet” and “Medicine Man” are stirring showcases, with soundscapes that lean more cosmic, offering up an atmospheric, supporting cast of drums, pedal steel, claps and haunting synth effects. Listeners will also find two renditions of Fred Eaglesmith songs on the album, serving as tributes to the cousin that Webb lost.

Webb’s perspective surrounding his experiences, his impressive growth through the sizable shifts in his life and his ability to pick up the pieces and move forward is inspirational. Wayward Soul is just the beginning for a songwriter, whose messages and lyrics have already started to connect deeply with fans and listeners. Wayward Soul will be available on iTunes and digital retailers everywhere on May 31st, and is the follow up to Webb’s previously released albums No Man’s Land and Before I Break, both produced by Jeff Halbert (Jade Jackson, St. Vincent, Rancid). MISS MORGAN MYLES EP RELEASES TODAY

MISS MORGAN MYLES EP DROPS TODAY (1/8)

Powerhouse Vocalist Tops Artist To Watch Lists for 2016 And Selected To Perform For Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City (1/27)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 8, 2015) - Powerhouse vocalist Morgan Myles kicks off the New Year with the independent release of her undeniably refreshing EP Miss Morgan Myles today (1/8). Blending country, soul and R&B the stunning six-song collection includes fan-favorite song, “Whiskey Dreaming” and is now available on iTunes and across all digital retailers.

Named one of just a handful of artists “poised to tackle 2016’s music scene head-on” by Nashville Lifestyles, the triple threat vocalist, songwriter and guitarist is making her mark topping several Artist To Watch Lists for 2016 with MySpace.com saying “Simply put, this Pennsylvania native has ‘it’ --in spades.” TasteOfCountry.com listed her as an artist who makes “indie look good” with “music that sticks to the ribs.” Myle’s soaring set of pipes, captivating stage presence and charisma also landed her on the lineup for Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City taking place at Tin Roof (316 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37219) on Jan. 27.

"I’m so grateful for all the support from my fans, friends, family and the music community. My producer and I worked really hard on this project, closing the doors to the world for over a year to focus only on recording the music for this EP, and I really feel like we found my sound and my style in the process. This EP is a true reflection of who I am both as an artist and as a mature and confident woman. I’m so excited to be able to share it with my fans and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the stories throughout, and I hope they groove along with me too,” said Myles.

Produced by RioVilleMusic, Myles co-wrote all of the songs off her EP Miss Morgan Myles revealing stories from her own personal life including letting go of an old flame that wasn’t the one, reflected in the lyrics on groovy “Whiskey Dreaming.” She follows that up with the self-penned “Queen Of Hearts,” which finishes the story of the ill-fated relationship calling love a ‘dangerous game.’ Launching into the up-tempo, spirited anthem “We Won’t Go Home,”  Myles shows off her playful personality and then dives with conviction into “Adeline,” and “Nobody Better Than You,” which MySpace.com highlights as a track that showcases Myles vocal range as one that is “second to none” adding, “Nashville hasn’t seen anything as smoldering as the sensual ‘Nobody Better Than You’ since the days of Hill and Twain.”

Turning heads with her sultry voice and Country-soul sound, Morgan Myles launched onto Nashville’s music scene with lead single “Whiskey Dreaming,” which was featured on iHeartRadio.com, TasteOfCountry.com and CMT, and is included on her EP Miss Morgan Myles. Inspired by big voices of the 90s, the Williamsport, PA native packed up her bags and moved to Nashville, TN nearly a decade ago to pursue her music career. Since then, she has teamed up on projects with the legendary Vance Powell, collaborated with top tunesmiths Richie Brown (Garth Brooks, Jerrod Niemann) and Rebecca Lynn Howard (Martina McBride, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood) and opened for shows for Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Jr., Rick Springfield and more. Making an imprint on Nashville and fans across North America, Myles performed for the Vancouver Winter Olympics and most recently performed with Jim Lauderdale and Leigh Nash for Music City Roots, where she brought the crowd to their feet. Myles is gearing up to perform a run of shows in Nashville, TN including performances at The Basement East (1/12), Nashville Lifestyle’s 12th Annual Music In The City at Tin Roof (1/27), 12th & Porter (2/14) and more.
